Growing up is messy, magical, and full of moments that shape who we are—especially the ones we share with friends. Join Film Clurb and Mise en Scènt for a candle-making class inspired by iconic coming-of-age films that celebrate friendship, awkward firsts, and the unforgettable in-betweens.

We’ll craft scents that capture summer freedom, bridge-crossing dares, and the kind of bonds that make you say, “Can we be friends?” “Absolutely.” Think Stand By Me, Lady Bird, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Booksmart, Turning Red, and The Sandlot—stories that made us feel seen, silly, strong, and sentimental.

Led by Greer, founder of Mise en Scènt, and our expert candle makers, this hands-on workshop is your chance to channel nostalgia through scent, storytelling, and creativity. Plus you get to leave with your very own candle!

We provide all the materials, techniques, and guidance you need to create your perfect candle, along with a carefully curated playlist, the perfect setting, and refreshments and popcorn to make the experience feel like a scene straight out of your favorite movie.
